Ebba Grips gemak
Ebba Grip’s Chamber, Just Like Home
In the South Wing of the manor house lies this bright and homely chamber. It consists of a bedroom, living room, separate shower room, and toilet.
This corner room offers views of the Park, Bridge and Courtyard. From here, you can enjoy the stunning sunsets over the Avenue.
Baroness Ebba Grip (1583-1666) was the one who gave the former Björsätter the name Mauritzberg after her father. Ebba became an orphan at the age of nine and was raised by her grandmother. From an early age, she learned to manage estates and properties on her own.
This is believed to have been the residence of the estate steward.
In this room, it is possible to add an extra bed for either an adult or a child. Please contact us at 0125-50100 or by email at [email protected] before booking to confirm the availability of additional beds. The same applies if you are interested in a crib.
