The Yellow Room's Hidden Wardrobe
A spacious double room on the first floor of the manor house’s main building. Here, a true historical atmosphere prevails, with 19th-century style furnishings.
The beauty of Bråviken can be admired from the windows and, in summer, from the terrace outside.
Thanks to the thick exterior walls (60–70 cm), a wardrobe has been cleverly and discreetly integrated into the wall.
Have a closer look at the tiled stove, the Yellow Room’s most beautiful feature, with its turned wooden legs. It is attributed to the Marieberg ceramic factory, which operated in Stockholm from 1758 to 1788. In 1760, tile stoves on wooden stands were understandably prohibited.
